Board game
training concluded at Makwanpur Everest Boarding School of Basamadi of Hetauda
Submetropolitan City on Thursday.
The
American Embassy , the Regional English Language Office (RELO) provided board
games for enhancing learner-centered teaching in the classroom. The program was
facilitated by Bibash Jung Thapa, who provided board games and
highlighted the importance of board games in the classroom
teaching. The participants were also introduced to different games, like Name
Your Favorite, Use a Word and others.
Ashish Karki, the principal of the school,
said that teaching through games fetch variety in the classroom and teaching
becomes interesting and effective. Altogether, 30 teachers teaching from
Playing Group to 7th grade participated in the program. Thapa has been
conducting borderless sessions in various schools.
